TQA Announces Sale of Majority Ownership; Keeping it in the Family

(RESTON, VA) May 25, 2021 - TrustedQA, Inc. (TQA), a steadily growing software engineering solutions and professional services firm founded in 1988 by Paul and Mary Ann Moyer, announced on May 1, 2021, signing a definitive agreement selling majority ownership to sons Neil and Keith Moyer.  Paul and Mary Ann will retain a minority interest in the business.  Paul will maintain his position on the Board of Directors. He will continue providing his sons with mentorship, guidance, and the wisdom gained from starting, running, and growing a prosperous business over the last 33 years.  Neil joined the Business Development team at TQA in 2009, received a promotion to Executive Vice President in 2013, and another rise in the ranks in 2015 to his current role as President of TQA.  He will retain his current role as President along with the added title and responsibilities of CEO.  Keith transitioned from his role as a Software Engineer at Leidos and joined TQA in 2017 to support the growing Business Development and Delivery initiatives.

In a statement, Paul Moyer said, “It is exciting and gratifying to know that TQA is in such great hands.  I know that together Neil and Keith will propel TQA to new heights.”

Keith stated, “It’s an absolute honor and blessing to be able to take the reins of TQA.  We look forward to continuing to build out our capabilities and expand upon the foundation that is TQA. Our goal is to make TQA a premier solution provider within the DevSecOps space to advance our warfighting systems’ speed, reliability, security, and availability.  With our legacy around Software Quality and Security, we are confident that we can easily leverage past experiences and recent initiatives to push the envelope of what is possible for the warfighter while still maintaining our core focus on delivering a Quality Software System.”

Neil seconded Keith’s sentiments and added, “Taking over majority ownership of a well-established and highly reputable family business is an opportunity that few are fortunate to have. Doing so amongst brothers who near-perfectly complement the other’s skills and capabilities is even rarer. We have experienced 260% organic growth over the last ten years. We intend on taking full advantage of this opportunity to significantly expand the innovative software engineering solutions delivered to current and future customers and increase the opportunities for our talented employees to grow and be creative.  Our mission remains the same, to help customers in the DoD, Federal Civilian, and Commercial industries build and deliver quality systems more efficiently, effectively, and securely.  The scale in which we envision meeting our mission just became limitless, and that is exciting.”

Neil and Keith will use TQA’s existing portfolio of business and strong industry reputation to better position TQA as an organization and provide increased stability and growth opportunities for our highly talented technical staff.  In a recent staff meeting, Neil remarked, “TQA will accomplish this through significant time and resource investments, developing our Solutions Engineering capabilities in 2021 and beyond.  We are confident in not only our ability to win prime contract opportunities but also successfully deliver the solutions and capabilities our customers will be seeking.  Our confidence lies in our ability to leverage the experience, knowledge, and innovative solutions obtained by all of the employees who make TQA a recognized standout organization.”
