Ramp up with American Institutes for Research
TrustedQA was engaged for the 6th consecutive time to provide the American Institutes for Research (AIR) with a team of engineers to test their Smarter Balanced Student Assessment system, which is a next-generation assessment system aligned to the Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts/Literacy (ELA/Literacy) and Mathematics for grades 3-8 and 11. It uses computer adaptive testing technologies to the greatest extent possible to provide meaningful feedback and actionable data that teachers and other educators can use to help students succeed.
As a result of TQA’s efforts, the Smarter Balanced application has far fewer user-facing issues due to the defect identification and their subsequent remediation. Our engineers conduct platform validation, test case validation, defect management, cross-platform verification, and retesting during our engagements. Over the 5 previous testing iterations, TQA’s platform (OS/Browser) coverage has been as high as 98% with more than 700,000 executed test cases and identification and correction of over 1,000 unique defects.
